"Counseling for Children, Adolescents and Adults"

Policies

Inclement Weather Policy

All offices of Jodi Valentine Counseling follow the US Department of Transportation website, not school closures, in regards to our offices remaining open or our offices closing during inclement weather. For instance, if all roads going to/coming from the counseling office are closed, then that counseling office will be closed. If some or all roads remain open going to/coming from the counseling office, then the counseling office will remain open and all such policies regarding cancelling late/not showing for an appointment will remain. Clients are urged to check weather conditions 24 hours and greater prior to their scheduled appointments so that if they wish to cancel an appointment even when the office remains office, then they will not be assessed any fees by cancelling 24 hours or more in advance. Furthermore, if any of the counseling offices open late/close early and/or close for the entire day, clients who have appointments that will be affected will receive an email and/or phone call notifying them of this change. If the office does not contact the client, then the office remains open, as roads are still open going to the counseling office.
